Two of us fishing. A disappointing day with only two baby Barbel and four eels caught. Tactics mainly meat or pellet. Probably too static today. Angler on opposite bank caught 15 barbel and 3 chub on caster, so definitely worth a try as an option to pellet for the barbel. This is a lovely spot and I'm sure it can produce plenty of fish on another day

Water level looked good enough (at 11 inches) for the streamy runs, but all quiet on the salmon front (none seen or encountered)

We had a great day out but caught nothing that day

All fish returned - barbless hooks used.

today was a blank unfortunately , I was shocked because this beat always provides good numbers of fish , didn't get a single knock all day , and the other angler here had blanked to , conditions are really challenging at the minute , the river is very low

Fish were showing at the top crib and in top of Cadora but failed to get any to take, which is about par for the bottom river at the moment.

Tough going...really really tough. Chub and eels far bank from wooded section. Not my favourite stretch and annoyed to see litter strewn down the woodland by the anglers parking areas.
