Nothing caught or seen. Nice day out in a company of very friendly new owners of the beat. Having said that, can they also be booked as fishing rods? Thank you.

Caught two small fish in morning on para adams. Fishing slowed in afternoon. There were some occasional rises, but likely due to the bright, clear skies fished stayed down as day went on. I probably could have caught more by nymphing but having just moved to the UK from US, and having fished nymphs all winter there, wanted to stay on top. Even though slow, great day on the water and this run is very nice with a lot of variety.

Worst experience of fishing I have ever had in 55 years of fishing. Completely spoilt day (and the river) due to huge numbers of people also "enjoying" the river. One paddled down through where i was fishing in a blow-up raft. Culminating in an abusive couple who jumped into the pool and waded across where I was actually fishing. They made it very clear in no uncertain terms that it was my fault for being there. I gave up. I thought that canoeists were bad enough but this capped everything. It's not the owners fault so I see no reason to ask them for money back. Be warned - Do not book this beat on a Bank Holiday. WUF take note - The Bell have filled the suggested car park with benches.

Had a lovely day fishing for salmon on the fly but unfortunately, I did not see or catch anything ( the sun was too bright is my excuse). Nevertheless I learned a lot about the river at that particular height.

Nothing. Not the easiest access around the reservoir.

Fished until midday, called a halt when it got too warm. Plenty of flies coming of the river. A good size on all the fish.
