Lovely day and ideal water. Saw a fish in the Bachaway pool but no prize.

River running very fast but clear. A wonderful setting. 2-3 fish rising but none caught

hot and sunny ,river dropping fast , covered some fish but no takers

Fished from about 11.30 until 16.30. Maybe this was the wrong time of day to fish this stretch with the water being crystal clear and low and the weather being mainly bright sunshine. I say this because I didn't even see a fish. Nothing spooked, not a single rise spotted, and inevitably no fish caught.
A nice day out though.

3 fish for Mile Timmis and one for Steve Habershon, 8, 10, 10, 16 all on fly from Rock Pool

Water low and clear. Odd fish started rising late afternoon. Managed four fish to 1.5lbs on shuttlecock emergers.

River in really good nick at 1ft 6" and 4ft vis. Started at 5am and fished till 8.30am, covering all the likely places. Fish showing in all the pools I fished except the Run, but sadly only a couple of shad and 1 decent brownie wanted my fly. A large fish (25+) showed twice in the tail of the Rock pool.
