Lovely day, lovely conditions, never saw a fish until late afternoon when there were fish moving in the Cockpit. Otherwise very quiet but felt very good indeed. MUST TRY HARDER!!!

River still very low and clear, hence most fish came in the morning and evening. A standard feeder and pellet approach accounted for all fish (fishmeal groundbait / 8-10 mm pellets / size 12 short hair), from the slower deeper area positioned in the middle of the beat. Directions to Middle Hill Court were excellent and access to the fishing good. Yet another top class fishing opportunity provided by WUF. We'll be back for some Autumn/Winter sport in a few weeks time.

Really hard day, not much happening on the water at all. Fished on the concrete next to the dam wall. Caught the only one on a worm.

River a little low and sun very bright. No sign of fish rising, tried a range of methods, NZ with a bright gold head resulted in a number of small finger length trout. Think I need to practice a bit more. This is a super place to fish and will return next season, hopefully when more water in the river.
