Just over half a mile of left bank Usk trout and salmon fishing, a few miles downstream of Brecon. With some excellent salmon pools, and long trout runs with a good flow, this is superb Usk fishing. The beat feels very private, with easy access and nice open sections.

Wading is easy on this beat, with the riverbed being a mixture of silt and gravel, but anglers are warned that there are some very deep pools with potentially quite strong flows. The banks are very steep in places, so anglers need to also know their entry/exit points to ensure they take care when wading.

Half price evening tickets can be purchased after 1pm on the day of fishing. Fishing is allowed from 5pm.

Please note that during the summer months, a Bull may be present in the field used to access the fishery. Please bear this in mind if you decide to book.
