The river was low, very slow and exceptionally clear, despite some recent rain showers. So felt extremely fortunate to get three bites in the afternoon resulting in three nice fish to 8lb.
Fished boilie over plenty of pellet and bites eventually came.
A bit of work has been done to the access track - thanks to whoever did that.

Very tough day, river low and clear, tried several swims, methods and baits, three Chub on meat to one angler.

Tough day on the water with a northerly wind and squally showers. Nice beat though, all fish on the Ptn

River low and clear. Fished the cattle drink, double swim with the scaffold poles near the car park. Largest barbel 8lb 4oz.

Very difficult windy conditions , two fish missed , river low . Hardly any fly hatching .
