First visit for me to the Wyebank stretch. Making my way to the bottom of the fishery I fished a 4 gram Alloy Avon to trundle small cubes of meat with hemp and mixed pellet as feed.
I managed 7 Chub averaging in size between 3-4lb with one or two getting on for 5lb.
A move back upstream and a switch to a Speci Waggler in the shallower water bought me my only Barbel of the session around 4lb in weight.

3 grayling up to 1lb.
No trout seen rising or caught.
Tough day with low water and grayling very hard to find.

Lovely spot......blanked unfortunately.

Quiet day for bites but we did managed a few fish in the fast water

Novice angler so don’t blame the fish for the zero catch return on a very unpromising weather day
