Had a very good day on this great beat,amazing what a difference the cloud cover makes,started around mid day and both found fish straight away.fish caught on swim feeder or PVA bag and pellet hookbait,,some nice fish with the biggest ones at 9 lbs 9 oz and 9 lbs 8 oz.Looking forward to returning here

First time here and really liked it though we didn’t catch. The rivers were Low as we have had no rain. Tried wet and dry fly. Suited nymph really.
Stunning place, idyllic narrow river. Great parking very close to the different fishing areas. Will definitely return

Did not fish as weather turned raining heavy all day as said before this beat needs to give you some idea of the swims we all used to wild wye fishing and had ropes but as we said its hard to see where the swims are from the banks

At last some rain and cloud , despite the low water the fish were rising to sporadic hatches of olives .All fish caught were a
pound or over ln perfect condition . One brownie taken to eat . Overall a great day on the river .

Fished from first light until 11am chub first cast then pretty much relentless until about 10-30 no fish under 2lb and two of 5lb 9oz and 6lb 3oz ,fished the wooded section using various baits trying to locate the barbel but to no avail the chub intercepted them straight away.I planned to return in the evening but scaling heart attack hill twice in a day deterred me.
