River very low and water gin clear. All of the grayling were decent size but the trout were tiddlers. Black Pennell favoured by most.

Excellent day missed around six fish landed 2 all released safely to swim another day, fish rising all day.

Water at low summer levels but fishing was good with most fish on spiders. Up to 16”

Hopeless. 6 hours. Tried everything. No knocks, no follows, nothing. That's the second year in a row Dad has paid out for this beat. Very disappointed. I won't be coming back. Don't believe the hype.

Fly Fished the whole beat, saw 1 resident salmon in Vanstone. No pulls. Lovely height to fish the fly.
