Fished upstream March dry and olive pattern to begin as spotted a few trout rising 4-6". Switched over nymph after no rises to but didn't get any takes. First time out on the beat and some very large trees in the water preventing wading upstream, nice weather. Must be my technique is lacking as there were definitely fish on the feed.

Great day out the March Browns turned up to order and the trout followed fish taken on March brown spiders and the same Dry mid afternoon, lovely fly water

2 rainbow one brown. Best brown trout I have come across. Close to three and half pound. Beautiful specimen. Dry and fine fished from the ramp. All on bottom worm

Only 2 caught on bottom. Considering they stocked it on the 31st February with 500 trout
Something (fishy) about that ????

First day out of the season. Bit chilly in the morning but warmed up later. Had some of the same issues as others reported with difficult access at the bottom end of the beat (steep bank sides) and the top end completely overgrown.

No rising fish for the first hour and no knocks or takes at all. Fish picked up around 1.30 with the warmer weather. Gave up on the dry flies and started using wet. Within 20minutes had hooked and landed a stunning PB wild brownie. At least 5lbs, possibly more. Had another pair of takes later but finished up happy soon after.
