Conditions today were very good, cold start then warmed up very nicely. Wind was slight but changing direction.
Fishing was very good all our fish caught on worm, tried spinning but nothing not even a follow.

Well my Usk curse is lifted !
Until today this was my nemesis, about 8 trips to various Usk beats and only 1 trout to show for it .
Arrived to a glorious sunny morning and bumped in to DJ from Tewkesbury who was the other rod on the beat , quick chat whilst we set up then off we went out separate ways .
A red letter day was waiting for me , 14 trout landed with I should think close on the same number lost or jumped ! Biggest a lovely fish of 2lb 2oz
Very easy access and will definitely be booking this one again
