Very quiet, lots of weed coming through, my first time fishing the lower end of the court field stretch using halibut pellet over a hemp based ground bait, no bites. After a change of bait to spicy sausage boilie resulted in a 7lb barbel at last light.

Fishing slow due to the conditions but a lovely spot, will be back after some rain!!

Worst day of the season here at Wyebank - The canoe traffic was horrendous today - non stop and plenty of swimmers also. The canoe traffic did not calm down until well gone 16.00hrs
It was so bad today you could not keep a rod in the water properly for any length of time.

On top of the fished from 10.30 to 19.15 - CT had the only one barbel take all day and the fish bumped off in weed.

1 x sewin 2.5 pounds, surface lure. This was the only take of the evening, but a few good ones have been caught in the last period.

Super nice location. Very relaxing fishing for a lovely Sunday afternoon. Caught 3 barbel upto 7lb and 2 chunky Chub up to 4.5lb. One Chub almost pulled the rod in, was the ferocity of the take! Lost one barbel late on. Took a walk down to the woods and will try down there at the end of the month. Need to lighten the tackle up as is a bit of a trek. Nice venue.

couple of evening hours to try out new rod. Rose one fish. Lots of caenis and nothing in my box that small.
