It was ok except for massive quantity of floating streamer weed

Condditions very difficult with very strong wind and large quantities of loose streamer weed coming through

storm brings water levels a tad higher higher but winds make casting hard. Only had a couple of hours, one missed. Nice stretch of water

Good steady fishing throughout the day with fish up to 8.5lb, despite the strong wind and floating debris.

Spent most of the day fishing for salmon,none seen on lady Alexandra catch.in the afternoon the river was rising and had a quick flick with a trout rod.1 nice brown of 10 ins and 1 grayling of 12 ins.
Can't wait to fish Rectory beat on Thursday.
