Good mornings fishing. Arrived 7:30 and left at 12. I caught 4 nice sized trout, weighing a total of 9lb 7oz. I lost three playing them in and one further snapped my 3lb line almost immediately.
Two were caught on worm with cork pop-up. I used a black and gold small Toby and had the smaller two fish on that and lost two on the Toby.
Wind was a problem and I fished an area I had not done before, which gave some cover from the wind.

Caught one lost a better one. Very little sign of life from the trout but quite a bit hatching in the afternoon. Nice beat quite tough to fish.

Salmon 8Lbs caught 8:10am in Cafn shrimp fly very fresh

12lb & 9lb. Both on blue rapala. Also lost a salmon on fly. A trek to the island (church) stream. Some deep wading to fish the neck.

2 Salmon, 1 Chub

Cold water, windy, some hatches between 12 and 16 but no relevant activity... Only small trouts with wet and nymphs.
