220 yards of double bank middle Wye fishing a few miles upstream of Ross. The Foy Bridge fishery is ideal for an hour or two’s salmon fishing for one rod or a day’s fishing for one or two coarse anglers. Access to the river is good with nearby parking providing quick and easy access to this picturesque location. Barbel and chub provide good sport for coarse anglers throughout the season, particularly from swims on the left bank, and the croy on the bottom left bank. For salmon anglers the beat has a good fly fishing pool with numerous boulders and potential lies. Fishing from the bank is possible in high water although wading is relatively straightforward in medium/low water. Wading is recommended to get the best of the salmon fishing but there are some deep holes to be wary of.

During Summer months, half price evening tickets for coarse fishing can be purchased after 1pm on the day. Fishing is allowed from 5pm.

The Lyndor Certified Location Caravan Site is located a mile upstream from the site. Caravan & Motorhome Club Members only.
