Syfydrin is about a mile north of Pen Dam and Llyn Blaenmelindwr and can be reached by road / tracks from both lakes. There is limited parking at east and west ends on rough ground. It too has a good head of wild brown trout which, while they tend to be smaller fish, are possibly the prettiest you will ever catch with really vivid markings. Again the scenery here is fantastic . The banks of the lake away from the roadside are very boggy and you will need to be sure footed and take extra care. Fly fishing, spinning and earthworm fishing are allowed on Syfydrin.

This is part of Aberystwyth Angling Association waters, so a day ticket here is valid for all other Aberystwyth AA waters on that date.

A concessionary ticket is available for persons of state pension age and disabled anglers. Proof of eligibility must be carried with you to present to a Club representative if asked.
