Llyn-yr-oerfa (Aberystwyth AA)

Llyn yr oerfa, which translates to 'cold place' (you have been warned!), is trickle stocked with brown trout throughout the year and there are some prize specimens here of 5lbs plus if you can catch one! There is parking available and the lake has relatively easy access and firm footing on one bank. Again there are boggy places on some stretches where care is needed. Fly fishing, spinning and earthworm fishing are allowed on Llyn Oerfa.

This is part of Aberystwyth Angling Association waters, so a day ticket here is valid for all other Aberystwyth AA waters on that date.

A concessionary ticket is available for persons of state pension age and disabled anglers. Proof of eligibility must be carried with you to present to a Club representative if asked.
