Great beat well kept river slightly coloured very windy at times. Caught on pellets and cheese paste . Biggest barbel 7.5lb biggest chub 4lb. Thanks again.

A steady day. Moved a couple of times to find a slightly more productive area.

As usual a great day to be beside the lovely Wye.

Very windy day, fishing was very slow with 3 chub to 4lb all on luncheon meat.

Mike Bacon caught the first fish, approx 11lbs cock fish, slightly coloured, on a small cascade on The Maddox pool. Paul Henry then caught an approx 13lbs cock fish from The Stones with a Silver Stoat's Tail. One other fish lost. Perfect conditions.

River fairly high and rising and barbel feeding well on usual pellet and feeder

Arrived around 11 o'clock and fished until 6pm. Conditions looked perfect and caught my first fish around 13:30. A barbel of around 5lb which turned out to be the best fish of the day! Ended the day with 3 barbel and 2 chub all on swim feeder and pellet.

The weather was windy with heavy showers and river was a couple of feet above summer levels but steady.
