A 1½ mile (2km) stretch of River Usk fishing downstream from Llanfaes Bridge in Brecon. The river here mostly flows over gravel meaning that wading is easier than other parts of the river. Along with some good trout fishing, this stretch also has some decent salmon pools. The wild trout population is also supplemented by occasional stocking. Parking is less than 50m from the river.

Vehicle access to the bankside parking area at the downstream limit is only available to disabled anglers. Disabled anglers are able to obtain a padlock code for access directly from the Town Council Mon-Fri 8:30 to 13.00. Telephone number and email address issued on booking.

Exclusivity is not guaranteed on this beat.
