Tough going as river dropping after rain previous week

1 Barbel, 1 Chub

We block booked the beat. The river was about a foot up on normal levels and still had a bit of colour.
5 barbel were caught in the upstream field. 3 from the concrete walkway.
All on the usual pellet and boilie method

8 Barbel, 1 Chub

3 Barbel, 2 Chub

First time on this stretch. Lovely beat
Conditions weren't great - bright sunshine with no cloud cover. But the water levels were good.
All the fish came to feeder and hair rigged boilie or pellet.
Finished at 5.30pm before light began to fade as had to get home.

8 Barbel, 6 Chub

River had dropped another foot or so since Saturday and was gin clear. The weather was decidedly colder too, with a northerly wind. All the fish came in the last two hours, to pellet feeder.

2 Barbel, 2 Chub

we fished from the lower end of the beat Harry's pocket and penalow pool we took fish on French leader and duo and drys some lovely looking out season Brown's

6 Trout, 16 Grayling

Went after pike but unfortunately not a sniff on the deadbaits.
