Very, very low water. We concentrated on sections of the Beat that had a flow through them and managed to secure some grayling. The only trout we saw were the ones we spooked whilst splashing around. Fish were taken using very small nymphs and spiders - all returned safely. A tough day, but a really nice beat to spend a day on.

Nice day to be out cool and cloudy in the morning little canoe traffic. beat fly fishes like a dream on an 8 weight and sink tip line. shook hand with a fish at the bottom of the beat but it obviously didnt like me./closest i have come to getting one out on fly on the river maybe next time

Excellent days fishing. Overcast and Humid. Little wind.
Seven Rainbows between the two anglers totaling 16Lbs 5 ozs.

3 small WBT caught on the Bachawy stretch just below the small falls. 2 caught on an elk hair caddis, 1 caught on a small green nymph.
Beautiful beat, not much fly activity until about 7pm....

River so low and crystal clear. Not a fish to be seen. Please, a little rain for both the garden and fiver!
