one small trout

This is a very nice stretch of river to fish, it's got it all. Had cool wind on River but never the less good days fishing

2 Trout, 1 Grayling

Very tough day. Cold and breezy with little fly activity and very few rising fish. 4 trout to 13" on mixture of dryfly and nymph.

4 Trout

Very difficult day, intermittent hatches of olives and a few March Browns throughout the middle part of the day but the fish didn't really respond with the occasional fish showing once but no more. Resorted to nymphing without success but neither of us are experts. Still a lovely place to spend the day though.

Couple of nibbles but nothing caught

Fished only for a few hours. Strong winds made casting difficult. Peaceful but no fish caught.

No salmon seen or caught.

1 Trout

River very low, cold downstream wind, mostly cloudy. Small hatch of small upwings at about 2pm, saw no fish rise all day. 2 O/O/S grayling on nymphs from faster runs.

2 Grayling

Quite a cold day with stiff wind. No fish seen but one other angler saw a fish show in the pool on Beat 4. Nice spot with lots of water. Some good bank clearance on right bank on beat 4 but a little deep in places when wading.
